Job Overview: The Light Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of smaller, highly maneuverable construction equipment, typically under $50, used for site support, trenching, cleaning, and utility work. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Operate compact excavators, skid steers (Bobcats), walk-behind trenchers, rollers, and small dump trucks - Assist the civil crew with site preparation, minor excavation, utility trenching, and backfilling - Load and transport small loads of soil, gravel, and debris around the site - Ensure all equipment is clean, maintained, and safely parked at the end of the shift Essential Qualifications and Education: Experience operating attachments such as hydraulic hammers, augers, or pavement breakers - Minimum 1 year of industrial construction/maintenance experience - Must have a valid Driver's License (DL) - Proven ability to operate at least three different types of light equipment safely and effectively #LI-JH2 Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
