Company Description The Associate Pastor focuses on helping people take their Next Step. They lead CCV Groups, Next Step Center’s & classes (Starting Point, Baptisms, Financial classes, etc.), and assist in Pastoral Care opportunities. They also recruit and train their Group Coaches and Next Step Center Coaches. An Associate Pastor must embody a heart for people and possess the maturity and wisdom to pastorally equip and empower people as they grow in their faith. Job Description: Essential Job Functions: - Help people commit to Jesus Christ & your local campus by executing regular Starting Point classes. - Champion Starting Point follow-up for your campus, and make sure every person understands their Next Step in their faith journey. - Own baptism on your campus and ensure that every person is celebrated and challenged to take their Next Step. - Champion the Next Step Center by helping attendees become aware of their Next Step and begin engaging in that Step. - Help and assist every person activate their gifts and talents to fulfill the vision of the church.
