DESCRIPTION: Cal Poly Humboldt and the Department of Applied Humanities invites applicants for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track faculty position with an emphasis in Applied Humanities . We seek a broadly trained candidate with a scholarly background in the humanities who possesses a deep commitment to community-engaged scholarship and pedagogies. DEPARTMENT: The Department of Applied Humanities is a new department in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences that houses four majors: Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy, Spanish, French and Francophone Studies, and Applied Humanities.
