Overview: Job Description Summary: Designs, implements, and supervises age-appropriate curriculum, manages classroom activities and interactions, supervises students and volunteers, and maintains a safe and healthy environment. Job Description: Essential Functions: - Collaborates in planning curriculum based upon knowledge of child development and observations to provide an optimal and safe environment for young children. - Provides a welcoming environment for children and parents and collaborates in arranging and conducting parent/teacher conferences. - Supervises and delegates classroom responsibilities to part-time assistant teachers, volunteers, and student teachers. Maintains cleanliness and order in the classroom. - Provides supervision that ensures children are constantly attended by Center staff.
