Lab Technician

Job description

Lab Technician Summary: Responsible for performing routine analysis of samples to determine chemical and physical properties while supporting daily lab operations, incoming waste processing, and compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on role that works closely with operations to safely receive, test, and process incoming waste streams. Responsibilities: - Calibrate pH meters, scales, and perform bump tests prior to receiving truck loads - Collect and analyze samples from incoming trucks - Verify samples match profile specifications and escalate discrepancies as needed - Enter and track load data, manifests, and lab results within internal systems - Scale trucks in and out and maintain accurate daily record logs - Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner - Follow all OSHA, Health & Safety, and compliance protocols - Maintain proper waste handling and disposal generated from lab analysis - Perform general lab upkeep including cleaning equipment, labeling containers, and disposing of samples - Maintain organization of lab supplies and ensure proper housekeeping standards Qualifications: Basic computer skills and experienc...
