Job Type Full-time Description: JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing major repair activities for MKC locations. This position will report to the Millwright Foreman. This position will inform the location manager at the location he is working of equipment needs. The location manager will bill each location or department for the work they complete. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: - Current operational knowledge of grain elevator equipment. - Current operational knowledge of petroleum equipment. - Current operational knowledge of fertilizer and chemical application and storage equipment. - Current operational knowledge of the properties, uses, and equipment involved with electrical systems. - Ability to diagnose mechanical problems on equipment. - Ability to perform repairs on mechanical equipment. - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
