About the Role: Base, Coinbase’s Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain, is looking for a Social Lead to own and evolve our social presence across platforms. This role will shape how Base shows up online, from daily conversation on crypto Twitter to large-scale ecosystem storytelling. You’ll be responsible for developing social strategy, creating and distributing high-impact content, and engaging directly with builders, creators, and the broader crypto community. The ideal candidate understands internet culture, thrives in fast-moving environments, and knows how to translate complex ideas into posts that resonate with crypto-native audiences. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, ecosystem growth, and communications. You’ll work closely with teams across Base and Coinbase to highlight builders, launch initiatives, and ensure Base’s voice remains credible, relevant, and deeply embedded in the onchain conversation.
