Description Position Summary: The Department of Medicine, Division of Genetic Medicine, is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified physician in Internal Medicine with training or experience in Medical Genetics to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will contribute to clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities within the field of genetic and genomic medicine. Main Responsibilities: - Provide outpatient and/or inpatient consultation in genetic and genomic medicine. - Evaluate and manage adult patients with hereditary and complex genetic conditions. - Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and collaborative care models.Contribute to clinical trial enrollment and precision medicine initiatives, as applicable - Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in Internal Medicine and Genetics. - Contribute to curriculum development in genomic medicine. - Provide mentorship to trainees and junior faculty. - Develop and/or participate in clinical, translational, or genomic research. - Pursue extramural funding where applicable. - Publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed journals. - Present at regional and national conferences. - Serve on departme...
