Physician - Pathologist

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Pathologist to join our dynamic pathology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely diagnosis of diseases through the examination of tissues, cells, and bodily fluids. This role plays a critical part in patient care by providing essential diagnostic information to guide treatment decisions for clinicians and surgeons. Key Responsibilities: - Perform gross and microscopic examination of surgical specimens, biopsies, and cytology samples - Provide accurate and timely pathology reports, including diagnosis, prognosis indicators, and recommendations when appropriate - Participate in intraoperative consultations (frozen sections) and provide rapid diagnostic support during surgery - Conduct and interpret autopsies when required - Collaborate closely with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other clinicians in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case conferences - Oversee and ensure quality control/quality assurance in the anatomic and/or clinical pathology laboratory - Supervise and mentor pathology residents, fellows, and laboratory staff as applicable - Stay current with advancements in pathol...
