Job description

The Recall Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance by managing product recalls across the hospital system. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all recall-related communications, coordinating with clinical departments, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely identification, removal, and documentation of recalled products. The role also supports the investigation and coordination of device failures, ensuring appropriate escalation, documentation, and follow‑up with manufacturers and internal stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS: SCHEDULE: LOCATION: - Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. - Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards related to product recalls and device-failure reporting. - Highschool diploma or GED - 40 hours per week Monday-Friday - Onsite, Springfield MA, potential hybrid schedule.
