Job description

We are hiring for this position out of our Vancouver office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance. Role Overview: The Manager, Residential Lending (West) manages end‑to‑end residential mortgage operations by leading teams of underwriters and mortgage administrators across multiple offices and portfolios. Holds delegated authority to adjudicate credit applications, ensuring timely decisions within established risk parameters and compliance with AML and ATF requirements.Provides day‑to‑day operational leadership through planning, workflow management, performance tracking, and first‑level escalation, while identifying and documenting defects and driving continuous improvement. Partners closely with Quality Assurance on audit and fraud prevention, develops procedures and training materials, supports testing and implementation of new initiatives, and fosters a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment that delivers strong outcomes for stakeholders.
