POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Care Coordinator is a clinical leader that is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the ASC Urology center. The Patient Care Coordinator coordinates patient flow, staffing assignments and procedural readiness while providing direct nursing care during procedure and serves as a clinical resource and mentor to staff, ensuring consistent high-quality care across all phases of care. QUALIFICATIONS: - Graduation certificate from an accredited school of nursing (RN program), required - Current MS state licensure, required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required - Advances Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), required - Completion of Moderate Sedation Coarse, required - Pediatric Advances Life Support (PALS), required - Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of nursing experience, with prior experience in endoscopy, perioperative, critical care, or procedural areas, preferred - Proficient patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, IV insertions, and administering Moderate Sedation - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion - Strong critical thinking skills, organization and multi-tasking in a fa...
