Job Description Assists licensed therapists in treatment of patients. Prepares patients for treatment. Maintains department in a clean and orderly fashion. Job Responsibility: *ADA Essential Functions - * Assists licensed therapists in the treatment of patients under all therapy disciplines - Prepares patients for treatment, as directed. - Transports / escorts patients to and from treatment areas. - Assists patients in dressing and undressing, as needed. - Places patients in position for treatment and assists in transfers. - Assists therapists during treatments, prepares hot and cold packs, and assists patients in ambulation under direction of therapist. - * Assists professional staff in ordering supplies.Orders linens and maintains linen in a neat and orderly fashion. - * Ensures treatment areas are clean and free of clutter. - Maintains clean treatment areas and disinfects treatment tables and equipment after patient use, as per hospital policy. - Sets up and breaks down treatment areas. - Maintains clean appearance of patient care areas including therapy gyms, kitchen areas, treatment rooms/booths, removing clutter and safety hazards. - Cleans and maintains water level in the ho...
