Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Job description

We are searching for a Nurse Practitioner -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will work under the supervision of the site physician(s) and work collaboratively with other members of the health care team to render age-appropriate care. Practicing under established protocols, the NP assumes independent responsibilities in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment and procedures. Skills & Requirements: This APP will float from The Woodlands, Kingwood and Vintage urgent care locations. This is a 30 hour per week position. - Master’s degree in nursing required - RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing licensure Compact required - FNP certification from the Texas Board of Nursing required - BLS or PALS certification from the American Heart Association required Job Duties & Responsibilities: Texas Children’s Urgent Care offers high-quality, efficient and affordable after-hours patient care in nine convenient community locations across the greater Houston area.
