Job DetailsJob Location: Pelham Branch - Pelham, AL 35124Salary Range: $11.22 HourlyThe Wellness Associate is responsible for meeting member needs and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The Wellness Associate will be responsible for answering general wellness floor questions, maintaining and cleaning equipment and fitness areas, general operations, and attending to any emergency that may occur. A high level of customer service and engagement is expected, which includes presenting a professional image and engaging members by providing motivation and encouragement. The position is responsible for ensuring that the mission, purpose, image and core values of the YMCA of Greater Birmingham are conveyed. Essential Functions: 1. Circulate through the fitness area, including the basketball gym, actively engaging members and guests. 2. Use Daxko Engage to record meaningful interactions with members. 3. Assist members using weight and cardio equipment, as needed. 4. Report repair requests and/or potential hazards of equipment to the supervisor, follow branch repair procedures, and post “out of order” signs on equipment. 5.
