Corporate Engineer

Job description

Job Summary The Engineer is responsible for all project scope development and detailed design associated with equipment, processes, and safety improvements for facilities throughout the organization. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. - Design, sizing, and selection of rendering processes equipment (conveyors, air and water condensers, ductwork, heat exchangers, piping systems, steam boilers, structures, tanks, valves, pumps, air scrubbing equipment, and cookers ). - Development of project scope, budget, and installation schedule. - Work with our internal Instrument & Controls, Automation, and Electrical departments in providing accurate costs and implementation of company standards. - Capable of working directly with internal and external resources for equipment sizing and design. - Generate equipment, motor, piping, and tie-in lists to hand off to CAD and installation resources. - Generate P&ID's, PFD's, heat and mass balances. - Capable of working with our internal mechanical installation department to ensure all modifications/changes during ins...
