Job Description The Division of Information Technology at Virginia Tech seeks an experienced and collaborative leader to serve as Director of Data Management and Analytics reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Services within Enterprise Solutions and Enabling Technologies (ESET). The Director of Data Management and Analytics provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Enterprise Solutions and Enabling Technologies (ESET) data and analytics portfolio. The role is responsible for translating institutional data strategy and governance direction into effective platforms, practices, and services that improve data quality, access, and analytic insight. Working in close partnership with governance bodies, Office of Analytics and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE), and business stakeholders, the Director enables the secure, ethical, and reliable use of administrative data, delivers selected enterprise analytics, and strengthens data management and reporting capabilities that support informed decision‑making, planning, and performance management across the university.
