Position Overview: - Department: Security - Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 12:30pm-9:00pm (Off Days: Monday and Tuesday) - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's St.Clair - Benefits for eligible positions only include: Generous Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and More What You Will Do: Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. - Perform proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. - Investigate, document and manage security incidents and hazards. - Maintain knowledge/follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans. May facilitate planned drills and simulations. - Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety. - Operates in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic or parking violations. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
