INTERNSHIP TYPE: Internship - Master's Level HOURS/SCHEDULE: 15-20 hours/week,: PROGRAM/LOCATION: Adult Outpatient, Willimantic, CT: ABOUT THE PROGRAM: ADULT OUTPATIENT PROGRAM: The Adult Outpatient services provide psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Services include assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, family treatment and medication evaluation and monitoring. PROGRAM OUTLINE: By participating as a Master's Level Intern with CHR, you can expect to gain firsthand experience and training related to clinical mental health & substance abuse evaluation and treatment as well as other services, including assessment, working on independent living skills, outreach treatment services and medication evaluation and monitoring. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Must be enrolled in a Master’s degree program in mental health field. Experience: Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required.
