Join Casey's as a Senior Accounting Analyst on our Asset SOX SEC accounting team! As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you'll play a key role in month-end closing procedures, ensure compliance with SOX requirements, and support continuous improvement across our processes and systems. What You’ll Do: - Lead and mentor team members while troubleshooting complex accounting and system transactions. - Monitor and analyze key reports daily to identify and resolve systemic issues early in the process. - Ensure accuracy and compliance by overseeing scheduled processes and maintaining proper accounting transactions. - Prepare and review complex monthly account reconciliations with thorough documentation in line with SOX requirements. - Assist in the preparation of the lease accounting process, in accordance with accounting standard 842 - Assist in the preparation of the opening balance sheets from business combinations, and the accounting integration of the acquiree - Serve as a resource for other cost centers to assist in researching topics, providing accounting expertise around transactional details, and supporting specific initiatives being driven by that cost center. - Partner with internal...
