Description Description: This entry level research position will be instrumental in supporting patient recruitment into various research projects. The Medical Assistant Research Assistant will work under the direction of the Research Site Manager (RSM)/Lead Clinical Research Coordinator to maintain study compliance guidelines. This is a hybrid position with 70% of the work completed in the clinic environment. This position may also be assigned to support patient care when needed. Responsibilities: Administrative Duties: - Provide support for assigned research studies - Complete study procedures with support from RSM - Maintain open and concise communication with providers, study sponsors, and study managers - Discuss with patient’s study details and participation expectations - Schedule participants for study visits - Manage study samples; blood draw’s, sample tracking, storge and shipping of samples - Manage patient stipends - Maintain EDC knowledge, queries and data entry - Maintain study supplies and device inventory - Patient Care: Assist OBGYN physicians and other healthcare providers in providing comprehensive care to patients.
