Job description

The Rework Employee is responsible for the rework and repair of improperly assembled water heaters. Ensures rework meets quality standards. Maintains proper record keeping and housekeeping. Ensures proper labeling, paperwork, and other materials are completed and included with each product. This position will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Montgomery, AL. - Make required repairs to damaged or improperly assembled water heaters. - Replaces critical components for proper functioning of units. - Responsible for ensuring heaters are properly reworked to meet quality standards. - Must do required paperwork on each reworked unit. - Must inform supervision, production control, Quality, etc of any missing and/or damaged literature, labels, energy guides and replace on unit. - Must accurately prepare scrap reports. - Must be able to read and utilize section schedules, pick lists, Oracle, etc to correctly verify part accuracy and quantities at all times. - Maintain good housekeeping in work area. - Observe and follow all safety requirements. - Maintain quality standards according to specifications, and leadership direction. - Inspect in-process work, finished units, components,...
