Job description

Provides environmental cleaning services. Responsible to maintain the facility in a sanitary, neat, attractive and safe condition at all times. Responsible to handle multiple needs and priorities as they arise while still maintaining the highest level of customer service. - Sanitizes all surfaces of the facility using a germicidal cleaner, according to manufacturer specifications. Collects infectious and non-infectious waste in all areas in appropriate containers. - Performs discharge cleaning/detail cleaning of all areas. Performs dust mop and mopping all tile floors. - Stocks supplies in areas, carts, and supply room. Cleans bathrooms. - Maintains accurate records including discharges, linen weight, isolation weight, pager sign-out sheets, cart sign-out sheets and Kronos corrections. - Performs high dusting of ceiling vents and ledges over shoulder height. - Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned. - Special Skills: Ability to read, to follow oral and/or written instructions in English.
