This position performs nonprofessional direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a registered professional nurse and/or licensed medical provider. This position assists medical and nursing staff with a variety of procedures in an Emergency setting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date. EXPERIENCE: Must meet one of the following: 1 year post high-school education completed in applicable course of study (nursing, biology, physical therapy, sports medicine, or related field) OR Current enrollment in a relevant college program (such as nursing, biology, physical therapy, sports medicine, or a closely related field) OR A minimum of six months of experience working in an Emergency Department or pre-hospital care setting.
