Department CORPORATE IMAGING - 107040: Worker Sub Type Regular Work Shift Pay Grade: Job Description: The CT protocoling technologist will work under the indirect supervision of radiologists and cardiologists to ensure appropriate CT scan ordering, and protocol selection based on patient diagnosis and facilitating technical excellence. The CT protocoling technologist will work with operational managers and CT Team leader to ensure the CT quality program, policies, procedures, and training are maintained and documented to assure safe practices and regulatory compliance. Responsible for maintaining core CT scanning competencies, he/she will be responsible for ensuring imaging quality, delivering appropriate radiation dose to patients, and protocol management for basic and advanced CT/CTA procedures. Assist in precepting other CT technologists and orienting them to the equipment, and the department imaging protocols and policies. Will work alongside the radiologist/cardiologist to assist with 3D post processing.
