JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL): POSITION INFORMATION: Job Title: Registered Nurse Division: Nursing Services Department: Emergency Department Reports to: Nurse Manager Classification: Regular, Full Time Opening Date: Closing Date: Continuous until filled ANTICIPATED WORK SCHEDULE (Hour of operation and schedule subject to change) Department Hours of Operation 24 hours per day, 7 days per week Schedule Rotational 12-hour shift BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Performs a variety of professional general and specialized nursing functions requiring advanced nursing skills and judgment. Nursing functions are performed with independence in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures and standards of practices of the nursing profession. Work involves charge responsibilities of the unit as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education ▪ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Minimum Work Experience ▪ Minimum of two years of ER experience as a direct care provider.
