Summary Job Description: Histotechnician Full-Time I First Shift: Laboratory I Lexington, KY: Baptist Health Clinical Lab and Pathology Department, where science meets compassion and precision meets care. Requirements: Benefits: - The Histotechnologist independently performs, interprets, validates and correlates tests as ordered by physicians by following the approved departmental procedures and in accordance with all regulatory agencies. - The Histotechnologist determines that the test results meet requirements of the quality control program and if not met, repeat test and ensure the results are approved for reporting. - The Histotechnologist expected to utilize complex problem-solving skills in resolving clinical and instrument problems. - Seeks out additional tasks when workload is slow. - Assists others with different aspects of the job. - Assists with answering th...
