Systems Engineer (System Integration)

Job description

In support of the U.S. Navy’s PEO IWS-X initiative, t he Systems Engineer (System Integration) is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and optimizing complex IT systems to enhance operational performance and reliability. This role evaluates technologies, implements system strategies, and ensures that infrastructure and mission‑critical systems remain secure, available, and fully optimized. The Systems Engineer works across cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet technical requirements and support organizational objectives . Key Responsibilities: Implement system strategies to enhance the performance, security, and availability of infrastructure and IT systems. Evaluate technologies, tools, and products to determine suitability and alignment with organizational requirements. Design, develop, and integrate complex IT systems to support operational needs and mission objectives . Execute system integration activities, including configuration, testing, validation, and deployment of solutions.
