Description The Vanderbilt Eye Institute in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus specialist to join our pediatric division faculty, which currently includes seven fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologists, four pediatric optometrists, seven orthoptists, and five pediatric ophthalmic subspecialists with an average annual volume of approximately 35,000 outpatient visits and 1500 surgical cases. Active training programs include our pediatric ophthalmology fellowship program, an ophthalmology residency, an orthoptist training program, and a technician training program. The Vanderbilt Eye Institute is a multi-specialty academic ophthalmology practice with over 60 full-time clinical and research faculty members, state of the art facilities and equipment, and multiple offices that serves an annual patient volume of nearly 200,000.
