Overview Post Title: Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Pathfinder Post Status: Temporary Specified Purpose Contract Department: Location: Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9 Reports to: Physiotherapy Manager Salary: Appointment will be made in line with Government pay policy. €71,405 to €82,860 Hours of work: Full time (35 hours) Closing Date: 12 noon on 22/5/2026 (Please note the hospital reserves the right to close the competition early should a substantial number of applications be received) Position Summary: The successful candidate will join the Pathfinder team which is a joint initiative between Beaumont Hospital and the National Ambulance Service. This service will see an Advanced Paramedic (AP) and a Physiotherapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) responding to 999/112 calls from low acuity elderly patients who would otherwise present to Beaumont Hospital’s Emergency Dept (ED). The team will treat patients at the scene and if required, refer them to appropriate community based services, as an alternative to ED conveyance.
