A Day in the Life of a Set-Up Technician As a Set-Up Technician , your day is focused on preparing equipment for delivery, demonstration, and customer use. You may spend your morning assembling new equipment, installing attachments or integrated solutions, and performing pre-delivery inspections. Throughout the day, you’ll test systems, complete setup procedures, and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and operating properly before it leaves the dealership. You’ll work closely with the sales and service teams to help create a smooth customer experience and ensure equipment is delivered ready to work.
