JOB SUMMARY: Performs various project work which requires safely operating vehicles and a variety of heavy equipment that may include but not limited to; front end loader, reach stacker, top picker, yard jockey, and track mobile. tractor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery to move, stage, and load bulk sugar and containers in support of rail operations. - Assist with material movement, container staging, and/or loading/unloading operations to support reach stacker and loading activities. - Load and/or unload containers from/to ABC flat railcars in accordance with load plans and rail safety protocols. - Work closely with Heavy Equipment Operator Lead, yard personnel and dispatch to coordinate loading/unloading schedules. - Safely and efficiently operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited JD 644J, 744J, 824J, 300D and/or TS9972 vehicles and other ancillary site equipment. - Responsible for conducting daily pre-operational inspections and completion of equipment logbooks while documenting any equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions. - Required to maintain record of operation including, but not lim...
