Description Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required (Interim ok) Travel Requirement: Up to 10%: Citizenship: US Citizenship required: Sherpa 6 is seeking a talented Software Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in designing solutions and guiding the development teams. We build mission critical systems for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other commercial customers. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the software developers and product owners to establish a plan for executing a project. You will take project documentation (BoEs, White Papers, WBSs) and convert that into a plan for the development team. You will work to align the architecture plan with existing patterns and practices to follow the established software development process. In addition, you will work to create plans and diagrams with enough level of detail that the development team can take this information and write code accordingly.
