Job Description: Our Las Vegas, NV laboratory is looking for an entry-level Technician to join their Sample Management Team ! The Sample Management Technician's primary responsibilities are to receive samples, prepare bottle kits for clients, deliver samples to the lab, dispose of expired samples, work in shipping and receiving, answer phones, and greet clients upon arrival. Job functions: - Receives/unpacks sample coolers and containers and documents the receipt in an efficient and timely manner - Verifies and records sample receipt temperature - Performs preservation checks on aqueous samples with various containers - Creates jobs, enters bottle records, and generates bottle labels using LIMS in accordance with chain of custody (COC) - Applies sample labels to sample containers - Transfers samples between sample reception, cold or ambient storage areas...
