Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor

Job description

This role follows a day shift schedule, working from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM , with designated days off on Sunday & Monday. The EHS Supervisor holds responsibility for the enforcement of the Home Chef Safety, Health, and Environmental (EH&S) policies for all departments and all employees in the plant. Detailed Responsibilities: ExecutesEnvironmental Health and Safety Policies, Programs, and Systems: - Executes the strategy for the development and sustainability of the safety culture in the plant - Leads implementation of all environmental health and safety policies - Oversees implementation of internal OSHA compliance program, including internal assessments, corrective actions, and coaching - Maintains the behavioral observation program and is responsible for conducting observations to ensure all safety specific policies are being followed (e.g. lockout tag-out, PIT operation, fall protection, etc.) under the direction of the site’s SafetyManager and the National Safety Manager - Communicates and rolls out all new policies, ensuring all impacted employees are informed and understand expectations - Assist the site in maintaining the Process Safety Management (PSM) program and environment...
