Job Summary: The Department of Art & Design for Dotphotozine. This full-color hard-copy magazine publishes a new volume every year featuring photography in a variety of formats and subjects. The Dotphotozine Student Assistants will support the publication by assisting in the pre and post production of the magazine. Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, duties include but not limited to: - Attend editorial meetings with Editor and Design Director - Assist Editor-in-Chief with gathering images - Resizing and retouching and color correcting images - Ensuring proper titles/crediting - Writing image captions - Assist the Editor with image sequencing - Assemble contents page - Check magazine pagination and copyright/disclaimer statements. - Create contributor contact page. - Update mailing list - Managing social media posts - Printing mailing labels - Assembling packets and delivering copies to mailroom. - Other duties as they arise to facilitate magazine production and distribution.
