We are looking for a talented Product Engineering Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Troy, MI . In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Drive high-quality product decisions by synthesizing input from technical managers, project leaders, manufacturing engineers, and supplier partners into clear, actionable recommendations. - Advance projects efficiently without compromising quality by applying academic foundations and hands-on experience to make sound day‑to‑day technical, analytical, and coordination decisions. - Enable cross ‑ discipline execution by defining and coordinating analysis, testing, and work instructions that ensure aligned progress across engineering and manufacturing functions. - Strengthen decision-making rigor through effective application and continuous improvement of ESW, iDFMEA, FIRG, and structured problem‑solving tools such as 7‑step problem solving and design review checklists. - Provide independent technical leadership by owning smaller business-impact projects or complex components/systems with ambiguity and full accountability to the project team. - Execute and mature engineering...
