Job description

This role is for someone in estimating or assessing who enjoys making the call, signing off repairs and helping customers get back on the road when life hasn’t gone to plan. You’ll inspect vehicles, scope the damage, review quotes and make the call on what’s fair and reasonable. Some days you’ll be out on the road assessing vehicles. Other times you’ll be back home reviewing estimates, writing reports and progressing claims. It’s still a full 38-hour week and the days can be busy, moving between assessments, customers and repairers. But compared to life in the workshop, it’s a different pace and easier on the body long term. Many Assessors also choose a 9-day fortnight and split their time between on-road inspections and desktop work from home.
