Project Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer or Project Engineer to support the development of heat pump systems and help close a short-term capability gap within our development team. Key Responsibilities: - Support general product development activities, with a focus on technical investigations and mechanical design FMEA. - Contribute to the preparation and execution of development cycle requirements (Gates, milestones, deliverables). - Define and execute test plans; analyse and interpret test results to validate unit requirements. - Propose design improvements based on test results and system behaviour. - Analyse structural and mechanical issues and propose optimisation measures to improve product robustness, manufacturability, and cost efficiency. - Take decisions and actions while balancing quality, cost, and timing constraints. - Plan and manage own activities in alignment with global project timelines. - Communicate progress clearly, identify bottlenecks, and support the implementation of corrective action plans.
