Envision Imaging is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team in Denton , TX Thursday/Friday 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM + Saturday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM| Position Pay Range: $36.40 - $46.92 $10,000 sign-on bonus to eligible hires Summary/Objective: Performs MRI procedures according to protocol and age-specific needs, including patient preparation. Maintains and monitors patient environment, adheres to safety procedures and contributes to the security and maintenance of the unit. Essential Functions: 1. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. 2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. 3. Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. 4. Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time. 5.
