Term Full-Time Position - (1.0 FTE) - Anticipatory May 4, 2026 - August 6, 2027 This position is at the L05 level with an hourly pay range of $33.93 - $42.93 (PSAC Bargaining Unit) Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the incumbent, as part of the Pharmacy team, performs complex duties such as manufacturing various sterile products, intravenous solutions, and chemotherapy; performs order entry duties; measures, manufactures, compounds, packages; organizes and distributes medications; assists with the purchasing and receiving; and performs other related duties. The position makes decisions with regard to: quantity of items packaged/compounded; quantities of medication required including compounded parenteral products; determines quantities of supplies stocked in dispensary inventory in consultation with Pharmacy Manager and performs purchasing/receiving duties as required. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: The successful applicant will have grade 12 diploma and graduated from a nationally recognized Pharmacy Technician course including a hospital pharmacy practicum (or judged equivalent experience).
