Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PLC programming on Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms, motor drive programming, and system troubleshooting. Experience with Ignition development is highly desirable. In this role, you will design, optimize, and maintain automated systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations. Responsibilities : Requirements : - Conceptualize, design, build, and troubleshoot automation solutions on Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms to improve process and equipment performance. Solutions may also involve robotics, vision/camera, and motion systems. - Develop a clear, detailed project scope through stakeholder engagement, create a realistic timeline and execution plan, manage progress and task completion by fellow team members while keeping stakeholders informed, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction upon completion. - Write clear job specifications to ensure effective competitive bidding and enforce contractor/supplier compliance with all Tarkett’s safety requirements while onsite. - Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues to minimi...
