Overview CVP is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team in providing our Nation's Veterans with long-term care services at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. The RN will utilize their broad based clinical knowledge to effectively assess, implement health promotion and prevention interventions, manage acute and chronic illness states, assist patient/residents in the attainment of optimal levels of functioning rehabilitation, and evaluate patient/resident response to actual or potential health problems. We have full time, part-time and PRN contract opportunities available. Responsibilities: - Utilize the nursing process in managing, developing, implementing, and evaluating each resident's individual plan of care with the interdisciplinary team to attain specific clinical outcomes - Provide a full range of nursing care to residents with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems - Demonstrate leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others - Maintain patient/resident confidentiality and a safe patient/resident care environment - Assess and act on significant changes in the patient's/resident's health condition - Collect and doc...
