Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist 📍 Brook Lane Hospital | Hagerstown, MD 💰 $335,000 Salary + $250,000 Sign-On Bonus + Up to $50,000 Relocation Position Highlights: - $335K base salary - $250K sign-on bonus - Up to $50K relocation assistance - 7 on / 7 off schedule (10-hour days) - Manageable caseload (~15 patients) - Strong multidisciplinary support - Teaching opportunities with psychiatry residents, medical students, NP and PA programs - Full benefits including CME, malpractice, retirement, PTO, and health coverage Practice Details: - 27-bed Adult Inpatient Unit (average census ~21) Average length of stay: - Voluntary: ~6 days - Involuntary: ~8 days - Admissions/Discharges: ~6 per week each Common diagnoses: - Suicidality - Acute psychosis - Mania - Depression with suicidal ideation - Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders - Substance-induced psychiatric conditions - Dual diagnosis prevalence: ~55% of admissions involve co-occurring substance use disorder Work alongside a comprehensive multidisciplinary behavioral health team, including: Complex cases (treatment-resistant depression, severe mania, psychosis, dual diagnosis, and medical comorbidities) are managed in a highly structured inpati...
