Preconstruction Manager

Description McShane Construction is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager for primarily multifamily projects. The Preconstruction Manager is responsible for preliminary budgeting, schedules, bidding process, procurement, prequalification of subcontractors, detailed take-off and estimating, definition of bid packages, value engineering, and assisting in project buy-out. Establishes and maintains a strong relationship with the Owner, designers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities: - Develop conceptual budget estimates and outline spec based on preliminary project information - Take lead and put together proposals for submittal - Lead value engineering process - Advise clients on design decisions which affect cost.
