Department: 11598 Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center - Patient Transport Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 9am-530pm Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 Major Responsibilities: - Acts as a resource to team members, which includes conducting ongoing training/orienting, providing day-to-day work direction regarding workflow and giving input on performance. Assigns, monitors and reviews progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides guidance on more complex issues. Escalates performance concerns to transport supervisor and transport manager. - Monitors general department operations, makes work schedule adjustments as needed, issues daily work assignments and responds to requests for service. - Transports patients, medical equipment, specimens, and other related items to their destinations. Lifts and transports patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers or beds properly positioning and securing patients utilizing proper body mechanics. - Contacts clinical staff immediately regarding changes to a patient's condition, or if a problem occurs with patient's equipment during transport. - Responsible for the day-to-day wo...
