Job description

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for General Supervisor. Job Summary: Supervises, plans, develops, coordinates, prioritizes, and monitors the day-to-day business activities for the Center including, but not limited, to the store, truck, warehouse, and auction operations while minimizing overall labor costs. The General Supervisor is to ensure that the above operations comply with federal, state, and local statutes and are performed within The Salvation Army's policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of general office practices and procedures. Knowledge of the principles and practices of general supervision and management of personnel. Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions, policies, procedures and/or guidelines in various manuals. Ability to apply attention to detail and to perform assigned work with minimal errors and within established time constraints. Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
