Job description

Title: ADABAS Database Administrator (Mainframe) We're looking for a highly experienced ADABAS Database Administrator to support a large-scale mainframe environment for a leading telecommunications technology client. This is an urgent role replacing a senior team member, requiring deep expertise in Software AG products and IBM mainframe systems. Key Requirements: Strong experience with ADABAS database administration (60+ DBs, large-scale environments) Proficiency in Natural / Natural Security / Natural One Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS , TSO, TPX, and JCL Experience with Entire NetWork, ADABAS Security, SQL Gateway, AOS, Review Expertise in performance tuning, backup & recovery, and troubleshooting Experience with mainframe tools (CA Broadcom suite, ServiceNow is a plus) What You'll Do: Manage and maintain enterprise ADABAS databases Monitor, tune, and optimize system performance Handle backup, recovery, and system upgrades Troubleshoot and resolve production issues: Support integration across Software AG and mainframe technologies On-call support required
