Senior Software Engineer - Electrical Power Systems Modelling

Job Description Summary Responsible for advanced Power Systems Application modelling, software development and successful delivery of assigned functions to meet corporate project/product commitments. Work with Electric Utilities or ISOs (Independent System Operators) and Transmission and Distribution System Operators on modelling, functional software specifications, designing, coding, testing, integration, application tuning and delivery. Act as a member in Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high-quality design and development practices. Implement new functionalities in power system application software with focus on modelling aspects. Understand customer Application modelling needs and design metamodels and transformation of data to target database formats with strong understanding of CIM. Work with customers on model migration and conversion of data to format needed for advanced Power Systems Application, SCADA and Power Market. Collaborate with system/project engineers, frontend developers and EMS , DMS and market application developers to implement solutions that are aligned with product direction.
