Description The Pool Service Maintenance Specialist I will maintain pools at client’s and associated facilities for the company. Duties/Responsibilities: - Cleans and maintains filled pools and facilities by skimming, vacuuming, and performing chemical treatments. - Periodically empties pools to perform deep cleaning, including brushing and scrubbing walls, floors, and surfaces. - Regularly tests pool water for pH; chlorine; presence of bacteria, algae, or contaminants; and other data. - Ensures correct color, chemistry, and clarity of pool water. - Calculates and adds chemical treatments to maintain pH balance, eliminate contaminants, or correct other problems. - Inspects pool and equipment; troubleshoots and repairs identified issues. - Completes and maintains daily logs outlining chemical usage, water quality, repairs, and supplies. - Resolves client or customer problems. - Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities: - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Extensive understanding of repairs, automation, equipment, and piping related to swimming pools. - Mechanical and manual labor skills related to aquatic facilities and e...
